Beanie Sigel Pleads Guilty
Rapper Beanie Sigel could face three years in prison due to back taxes.
The Philadelphia native appeared in court today (August 9), and pleaded guilty to owing close to $350,000 in back taxes.
According to the IRS, Beanie Sigel failed to pay taxes from 2003 to 2005, his tenure as an artist on Roc-A-Fella Records. The rapper’s lawyer says that they will challenge the government’s claim.
Sigel faces sentencing on November 18th.
