Born & Raised In Harlem, NY I started DJing when I was 13 years old… Some of my early influences were DJ S&S, DJ Clue, & Funkmaster Flex. I moved to Atlanta to attend Morehouse College. After graduating with a degree in Marketing, I linked up with DJ Tron & DJ Motion to form the Urban Legends DJs.
Still only Djing part time, I was determined to be one of the hottest young DJs in Atlanta, however, it was hard at 1st getting gigs because no one had reallly known me for DJing. I was known more for promoting parties and events. So I used that to my advantage. I began co-promoting any event I was hired for. Soon business began to pick up.
After a while I began spinning for some of the top promoters in the city (Prophecy Events, Dynasty Entertainment, AG Entertainment, Black Bigs. etc) At the hottest venues (Compound, Leopard Lounge, Velvet Room, House, Noir etc)
In The Spring of 2007 I appeared as a guest DJ on BET’s Rap City. During the summer of that same year I made my radio debut mixing on the Hot 107.9 Mega Mix.
I continued to grow and develop as a mixer by staying on top of new music, putting out mix cds, and rocking parties whether there was 20 or 2000 people in the room.
Currently I am the mixshow coordinator at the #1 Radio Station in the South, Hot 107.9 where I do production for all the Radio One Stations… I spin on air Tuesday & Thursday at 5pm and Friday, Saturday, & Sunday night 10pm-2am.
I am still working towards bigger and better things, but I thank God everyday for the position I’m in. The secret to my success is keeping God 1st in My life. If you keep God 1st He will add everything that you are looking for into your life.
