Tone Loc Pleads No Contest
Veteran rapper Tone Loc pleaded no contest to domestic violence and assault weapons charges. The charges were related to a June 18th arrest.
According to Los Angeles County prosecutors, the rapper will serve one day in the county jail along with three years of probation, 30 days community service and 52 weeks of anger management counseling.
Loc, who became a star in the late 80s on the strength of his album Loc’ed After Dark, was initially arrested for domestic violence, but an investigation turned up an illegal, unregistered firearm.
