Tyrese Prepping New Album

Tyrese is prepping the release of his first album in five years.

The singer has recruited rappers like Rick Ross and Ludacris for the album, entitled Open Invitation, and he’s releasing the album on his own Voltron Records. The imprint is distributed by EMI.

“After stepping away from recording to nurture and develop new aspects of my career, I’m excited to return to my first love of music, which ignited my amazing journey,” Tyrese Gibson told AllHipHop. “I’m thrilled to have an opportunity to share this incredible record with the world through my own label Voltron, and I’m blessed with a supportive partnership in EMI Music Services to release an album I poured my heart and soul into,” Tyrese continued. “I believe that this is my best musical effort to date, and I’m anxious to share it with my fans who have patiently waited for my return.”

Open Invitation is due in stores on November 1st.
