VIDEO FAB: Common’s “Celebrate”+ Kelly Rowland Sings “White Christmas” With Michael Bublé

Common just dropped his brand new video off his new album “The Dreamer, The Believer.” Check out “Celebrate” and Common’s celeb friends making cameos inside, plus Kelly Rowland teaming up with Michael Bublé for a “White Christmas” in he UK…

In his new Phil The God directed vid, Common celebrates life, love, and friends for the appropriately titled “Celebrate.”   The track was produced by No I.D.–which may explain why it has a Kanye (who collabos with No I.D. often) “Good Life”esque feel.

In the clip for the feel good track, you see friends (Tyga and Ludacris make cameos) celebrating the return of their soldier friend, New Year’s Eve, and more.  Check it.  The album drops tomorrow.

BONUS: The esteemed Maya Angelou is none to pleased with Mr. Common.  She recites a poem on his The Dreamer, The Believer album. But she wasn’t happy about him using the N-word throughout the album and the particular track she appears on.  The NY Post quotes Ms. Angelou saying:

“I had no idea that Common was using the piece we had done together on [a track] in which he also used the ‘N’ word numerous times. I’m surprised and disappointed. I don’t know why he chose to do that. I had never heard him use that [word] before. I admired him so because he wasn’t singing the line of least resistance.”

Common responded:

“I told her what ‘The Dreamer’ was about and what I wanted to get across to people. I wanted young people to hear this and feel like they could really accomplish their dreams.”

And the fabulousness that is Kelly Rowland taped an ITV Christmas special segment with Michael Bublé (whose Christmas album is great by the way).  It aired this weekend in the UK.  Check out Kelly and Michael belting out “White Christmas.”  Loves it.
